The Junior Cutman program is to teach individuals that want to learn, work and earn experience towards becoming a professional cutman. The work of Cutman is an 'Art'. This program is a subsidiary of The National Trainer Cutman Association, which will educate and bring in the future CUT MEN that will provide safe and professional CUT MEN service for MMA and boxing.
Under the Junior Cutman program the CUT MEN will earn supervised hours at Amateur MMA events that will be supervised by senior CUT MEN of the National Trainer Cutman Association and supported by the local State Athlete Commission and or the local Amateur sanctioning organizing.
All participating junior Cutman must earn the following hours to qualify: Once a Cutman reaches 5,000 hours of supervised Cutman work, he will be considered to work professional MMA shows. All hours must be signed and documented by a senior Cutman and reported to The Junior Cutman Association for verification. All Junior CUT MEN must earn CPR certification, First aid certification Hand wrapping course and basic cutwork in order to book an event.
Promoters will receive excellent service from each Cutman, along with the guidance and knowledge of a Senior Cutman. All will provide the care each athlete needs to compete safely.
Promoter requirements: Minimum of two Jr. Cutman per show and Professional Senior Cutman. Senior Cutman fee: $$$ per show. Plus travel cost and food per diem per Jr. Cutman and Senior Cutman [if applicable]. If there are no junior cutman in a given city where a show has been scheduled, then a Junior Cutman clinic will be offered to those in the area. Those participating will be certified by the National Trainer Cutman Association by a Senior Cutman at their own expense.
Junior Cutman will serve and bring comfort to all corners.
